This is a unique one. This features a rapper I've never met (Mister Real Rap) with a hook by an artist I do not know (could be YAC's Uncle) as well as my close friend Dark Matter. But the beat is by Yelling At Cat, and it's a solid street track with an essence about the grind of life. The struggles of those in less fortunate circumstances. The seeming blip of life that is both infinitely fast yet feels like a grind. This is "Motions"
Note: I do not have lyrics from either the first rapper OR the hook. So I did my best at trying to... transcribe them from listening over and over. If you think you know what the lyrics are... please message me!
lyrics
Mr. Real Rap:
N***** take a left & right but never in the front of tee
I paid attention handled business I came from that bottom
That middle class is kinda ass we barely survivin
I hustle hard I played my part cause this life is a challenge
from a boy to a man in transition of power
and turn my feelings into verses igniting the fire
sit my ass on the throne n***** callin me sire
I am destined for greatness course with the house on them acres
models with bodies are shaking all of my n***** is cakes
you understand that you got a fealty
and why I try so hard and what I strive to be
my father gone but I still know he watchin me
man of little words I still pay attention see
understand everything is real rent
so when you hear n***** spittin boys that all fence
watch me talk this life shit
n***** leanin left now i'm on my right shit
Chorus:
(Can't figure it out so this was my best guess)
Games all that bread pays are just scandalous
Life'll make you grow up fast, can you handle it.
Have you going through the motions.... motions... motions
Have you going through the motions
Rhyme Flow
I'm on my game i'm staying optimistic
Y'all know the name. It's Rhyme - Flowny, if you know you missed it.
We rollin on this YAC Joint, up in the KOLT District.
Foes tries to step, then they trip - become old statistics.
What is life, but a cylce of taxes and fees?
40 hours a week, bringing a man to his knees.
If he can't pay his rent then he's out on the streets.
And then he can't make a dent to the ride that he leased.
Hmph
Call it an asinine catastrophe-
These Masterminds that keeps the man entrapped inside a factory
And keeps that man working his ass off till he has to leave.
And then he dies - post retirement, it ain't been half a week.
Yo
Tell me the day-to-day of your distinction.
Thinkin that you'll go make it big on the brink of extinction.
There ain't no rappers, there's just bastards of money machines.
Hungry for the paper, while they cash in on somebodies dreams.
But i'm fittin to find a fold in this one.
This life is mine, so i'm gettin designs to blow up this one.
Go through the motions it's fine, my goals to and get some.
Either I do or I die, I'm flowing till it gets done.
Chorus
Dark Matter
Get inside my head, expose my brain like krang
addiction to jewelry, blowing racks on gold chains
bankrupt in my veins, tryna extend my reign
Just try to wear my skin - when pigs want you slain
went from a triple beam to a ponzi scheme
all american dream contemplating cream
ain’t easy as it seems monetary theme
going thru the motions
this cali lifestyle, day to day is ferocious
in a pole position, a lone man on a mission
had ass on my mind, reckless indecisions
leaning close to prison, not what i envisioned
many crash collisions mashing with these stool pigeons
striving for a meal, not a million bucks,
just 10 meals a month, constant state of flux
isn’t that too much
to ask for?
as i implored thee impossible
I’m getting ridiculed, banished from high school,
Tryna vent, but i can't breathe without the combivent
third world problems meaningless to the one percent
i’m just going thru the motions, tryna make sense
life can be too hard to handle, but I pay the rent

Perfect, mellow, techno synthpop for a long, cold expanse of post-midnight cryoseism snowquakes, here in Central Illinois. Pure pleasure for jaded, jejune ears! str8sounds
